Chase Harrison
Born and raised in Missoula, MT, and a graduate of the University of Montana, I’ve always been drawn to the outdoors. My first career was in wildland firefighting, where I spent a decade traveling the West before shifting my focus to guiding. Fortunately, I found success, building a loyal client base over the next ten years, which eventually led me to start my own outfitting business, Missoula Guided Fly Fishing.
These days, I specialize in dry fly and streamer fishing—there’s nothing quite like outsmarting a wary, rising trout or watching a client’s line go tight on a strip set. Most of my business comes through word of mouth, which has led to some of the most rewarding and lasting relationships.
Beyond the water, you’ll find me walking my dog, Suzie, cooking up something delicious, catching a hockey game, or carving turns on the slopes.
Coaching is where I truly shine, whether it’s on the ice or in the boat. I’d love the chance to share a day on the water with you.
